School councils play a key role in Victorian government schools. Participating as a school council member is a rewarding and challenging experience. The school council supports the principal to provide the best possible educational outcomes for students. School Council meet periodically throughout the year and its function is to establish the broad direction and vision of the school, oversee the maintenance of the buildings and grounds, prepare the School Strategic Plan and the Annual Implementation plan, create policy and generally stimulate interest in the school in the wider community.
